What is a "Sponsor"?

Tax-deductible contributions from individuals and organizations support the day-to-day operations of the station, as well as funding future broadcast equipment upgrades and expanded programming. Round Lake Radio is a dynamic, listener-supported, volunteer-run, nonprofit, noncommercial FM radio station dedicated to serving the greater Round Lake area and western Lake County.

What is an "Underwriter"?

Underwriting is a tax-deductible contribution to the station in return for on-air announcements, sometimes called "spots." These contributions can come from a business, an organization, or an individual and are usually purchased to promote local businesses or organizations.
