98Radioke merges the fun of a Karaoke performance with the uniqueness of having the singers heard and promoted on the radio.
Aspiring singers will sign up at no charge at local participating bars during the month of November to try out. Five contestants at each venue will ultimately be selected by audience vote to advance to the next rounds, representing their local club.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. They will also receive trophies, studio recording time, professional voice coaching and a photo shoot. The venue represented by the top winner will receive a travelling trophy, plaque and bragging rights for a year.
